This bus does not need to exist. There is no reason why it should exist. The 608 is a shuttle that runs from Haymarket to State, Government Center, and Bowdoin, before heading back up to Haymarket. It’s totally free to ride, and runs every 20 minutes....

I remarked in my 111 post that there’s probably a really nice view of Boston from the Tobin Bridge. I managed to snap a picture of it on my hybrid bus ride, and it is indeed a fantastic view. Not a great picture, but it was the best I could do.
