Regarding your failed engine change at Washington: coming home from New York City to Alexandria, Virginia, in February 2022, our train was delayed at Washington for about an hour waiting for a diesel to take the train south. I’ve experienced countless engine changes at Washington and had never before encountered a delay caused by lack of an engine.
