A pretty inconsequential video, but at least there’s a decent cover of “Wellerman” in there.
(Also I can monetize videos now! I’m trying it on this one as an experiment but feel free to leave a comment with feedback.)

Glad you had a safe journey. Next time let us show you Williamsburg Area Transit Authority. 🙂
Sounds like you could have done a whole video on the maritime museum. That makes the trip worthwhile.
I made the same trip (except from Alexandria, Va.) 4 years ago. At the time, $1 admission to the Mariners Museum was a temporary promotional thing. I spent hours there and didn’t see everything. I rode Hampton Roads Transit from the same bus stop. Noisy, cursing kids made the trip unpleasant, so I walked back after visiting the museum (about 3 miles). I’ve used the station quite a few times, usually en route to or from Norfolk or Virginia Beach. One time I walked across the road to look at the steam engine and saw tanks and cannons beyond the trees. There’s an army museum next door, with a lot of outdoor displays. The new Newport News station will be near the airport but far from anything else.
