Thanks for watching! Remember that these $19 prices were a one-time thing – they’re at minimum $47 now, and that’s if you book way in advance.
The way the email thing is set up, I have to specify a time when it sends – because I can post kinda inconsistently sometimes, it’s set to deliver the morning after the post is posted. You should get it tomorrow!
I really enjoyed your tour of Roanoke, Miles! I’ve never been to that part of VA, but between the VA Museum of Transportation, the pinball museum, and the Roanoke Star, there seems to be lots to do there! Hopefully you’ll be able to come back to Roanoke and check out the Valley Metro action!
Thanks Michael! Honestly I would go back for some of the other attractions there, like the Mill Mountain Zoo and the Taubman Art Museum, but I just didn’t have time to tackle everything. Plus, it’d be awesome to climb the mountain in the early evening when they light up the star. And of course, I’d have to ride Valley Metro!
35 miles per dollar is REALLY good, that’s better mileage than pretty much every gas-powered car on the market considering current gas prices
IIRC, there were 4 $19 Amtrak journeys you bought; New York, Philly, and Roanoke are the ones we know of so far. If there is a 4th, I’m excited to see it!
That’s a really good deal, I don’t really get how on EARTH Amtrak can be making money with these prices…
Great, funny video as always!
Also, fyi, for some reason, I signed up for the email thing but I never received one when this video/post was posted.

Yeah, it was an incredible deal! There is indeed a fourth journey, it will be coming out in a couple of weeks 😉
Great trip! I really want to go to the pinball museum!!!!
