Megabus prices tend to be a lot lower when you book far in advance and much higher as you book closer (with huge increases for weekend travel); Greyhound is often more consistent, with smaller changes. Greyhound does have WiFi, but the new system that they’re rolling out has tight data limits before making you pay.
