cool video!
I can’t believe you could get all the way to philly for $19, that’s pretty far!
By the way, i know that RTA’s aren’t that cool, and you kinda stopped reviewing for now, but RIPTA is doing some service changes around CCRI and URI. What do you think?
Yeah, I need to get back into that RTA groove. I generally like these changes though! Cutting the 66 in half makes sense and I’m glad to see they’re making the 14 more frequent.
most of them I like, but I’m a little eh about making the 14 even MORE local, which I feel like contributes to the low ridership… although it’s great for 8x riders.
Also, earlier this year, they finally finished the DTC. Yes, it has amazing shelters. Yes, it has bus lanes. Yes, it looks amazing for an RTA. Maybe even for a transit system in general.
I’m confused why they aren’t advertising it more, you need to poke around alot to see what it actually is
Finally, your new video is amazing! Keep up the good work!
About Philly modes of transit, there are three more for you to try: #1, PATCO (the first computerized-running transit line in the U.S. and has the best railfan seat), which you can ride to Lindenwold; #2, River Line (I think the only diesel-powered light rail in the East); #3, NJ Transit Atlantic City line, from Lindenwold or Pennsauken (connect with River Line). If you include the Riverlink Ferry from Camden, that’s #4.
Miles, I don’t know if you’ve seen this, but there was recently a webinar on the history of the MBTA map: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UaeROB123O0
