The things I do for this blog. Seems like the economical choice to me!
Miles, I appreciate the things you do for the blog. Have you considered selling ad space on the blog to cover the expenses in what you do, or would that make your photography be considered commercial in nature and thus require a permit?
Thank you! I’ve thought about it, but you make such little money off of ads these days (especially with a pretty low traffic site like this one) that it’s not worth the sacrifice in user experience to put them up.
I’ve thought about maybe doing a Paypal or Patreon or something, but never seriously. At any rate, I really appreciate each and every reader, and I’m not (yet) in a financial situation where what I do is unsustainable!
If you ever did set up a PayPal, I would definitely make contributions to it when I could.
That means a lot, thank you! I’ll think about it – I just don’t want to seem too needy.
Very funny. Would you say that was a high-seniority route for the bus driver?
Hmm…I’m not sure what makes for a high-seniority Greyhound trip! For those with a family it’s probably nice, because you get to stay home. But I could see part of the appeal of working for a company like Greyhound being, say, driving from New York to Chicago and then getting to spend the night there.
Hey Miles. Could you please ride the 42 or 21 in Philly river to river eastbound and count the number of rideshares that block the bus lane on Chestnut?
Love the blog. Keep going.
I’ll take Pointless Bus Rides for $16, Miles lol
Miles, with all these NYC videos, you should do “Miles on the MTA”
You got mentioned in Jalopnik for this one, that’s pretty cool add it to the In The Press page…
Someone tipped me off in the YouTube comments – it is very cool, the post there was awesome, and it seems popular! What is Jalopnik, though? I’ve never heard of it.
It’s a quite popular motoring news site that covers a lot of odd motoring and transportation news, often the slightly obscure or generally abnormal things. Quite a big site honestly, Nationwide readership. Why they chose to cover this I don’t really know but it’s awesome.
That’s amazing! Thanks for the info…this is a bigger deal than I realized!
Hempstead is actually a pretty good value, $5 + service fee is not too bad!
Thanks for doing this… It was hilarious!
